A candle in a glass with a random scent (Lavender / Lemon Grass / Sandal). The old-school style of premium candles now scented and available for everyone!

A candle, scented with a random scent, put inside a glass. The soy wax used for the candle is scented with a random aroma oil (Lavender, Lemon Grass or Sandal). The glass is clear but has a striped / ribbed design, allowing for a clear and brighter light even when half used. The glass used is thicker than normal glass holders, yet the performance of the candle is not affected. It also helps in the durability of the candle as a whole.

Did You Know?

In the mid-1850s, James Young succeeded in distilling paraffin wax from coal and oil shales at Bathgate in West Lothian and developed a commercially viable method of production. Paraffin could be used to make inexpensive candles of high quality. It was a bluish-white wax, which burned cleanly and left no unpleasant odor, unlike tallow candles. By the end of the 19th century, candles were made from paraffin wax and stearic acid.
